Yard of the Month Judging Criteria
The Elizabeth Lake Estates Garden Club judges homes for the “Yard of the Month” award, which is presented the first week of each month from April through October
The criteria for judging “Yard of the Month” in order of importance are:

Overall look and neatness.

Lawn - mowed, trimmed and relatively weed free.

Edging - driveway, walks, curbs.

Shrubs and trees - done in good taste, in proportion and scale with home and terrain.

Color.
The award is a sign “Yard of the Month” placed in the winner’s yard for the month, then passed on to the next winner.
